I think that if teaman and night tronic are / were managers then to them if they could sway or even persue the doubters with 'inuendo' then the task they set is done. The fact that they dissagree with everyone but backslap each other futher raises the point that no rational discussion amongst 'posties' is will ever be a 'reasonable' without management intervention which we all know is , or works against us . yes some don't agree with P.O 'ideas' but i've not seen many of those. Yes they might have a point of veiw but who's ?

I am secretly a DOM sent out with a mission to convert all the non-believers on RMC.
I tried and failed in my mission to get posties to see "The Light".
I knew I was going to find it hard to achieve my mission when every time I presented the facts, I was hit with the retort "yuh, but my bag's heavier now......." which I found hard to counteract. Going through the various plausible reasons why this reply was a load of tripe was wasted effort, though I persevered.
To no avail. Some sharp-eyed posters had realised I had a weak-spot, and hit me with "yuh, but you're a DUM aintcha..? which hit me in the heart. To this, there could be no reply, my cover was shot to pieces.......

I don't mind which particular brand of fantasy or conspiracy theory you choose to believe, but it's frightening that I'm being dragged along with people (via the CWU) who appear to have thier heads jammed firmly up their Khybers.

Communication has always been poor and getting worse but what has above to do with falling mail volume?

dig at another post implying people purposefully disbelieve something just because a manager said it and accusations of juvenile them and us stuff which works both ways , blue or coffee stained white shirts .

RM has the same problems and issues as everywhere else only everything is taken to literal and autocratic extremes and handled very badly but according to the wannabe E journo it's pressure for change and time constraints which apparently makes everything excusable .

I suspect its 'pontificating for the ultra paranoid' T-man. Snipers at every turn, landmines where least suspected and not knowling from whom or where from. RM management must be laughing up their trunks to read threads like these. As I've said before, unity is mostly words. The union 'as we knew it' was finished at Christmas and pension reforms have gone through. Now all thats left is a fight amongst whats left and posties attacking themselves. An e-witch hunt. Even RM management have the sense to keep their gobs shut when its wise to do so. Much talk of unity from some, but not demonstrated in the replies. The grass roots are in as much disarray as the CWU leadership. Right mess and now deteriorating into throwing custard pies at each other. Most know that already. Sometimes it is much wiser to keep strumm about tactics rather than end up as the equivalent of the Beano.
