who should I use to handle my mail./Donations please!
I am starting a charity group, I need to send nearly a few hundreds letters / leaflets. I was actually advise by a few people that because I am A) using my own money, and B) Its nowt to do with RM, to use a rival competitor to handle my mail. Now because I am an idiot and wants to be loyal I be using RM. So heres a question, would any of you use a rival firm to handle your mail if it was cheaper then your own firm? ps just a question
Would royal mail give a discount?
******Disclaimer Idiots managers Do not bother getting excited as I have not used anybody yet so go bother someone else

Use whoever is cheapest. It's your money. If you buy something on line you wouldn't pay more for an item because they used RM instead of DHL or Fedex, well you might but I wouldn't.
I worked for an electricity board and got 25% discount on electrical appliances but even so they were still more expensive than some high street retailers. The stores ended up closing down BUT it wasn't because I didn't buy from them it was because they weren't competitive.

Thats quite a good point, however I think our biggest downfall can be led back to two things :lfo & :cfo (three things if you put managers into the equasions.)

If you guys wannna send me £1.25 through my donations link which after charges will be about a quid i'll send the money on.
leiwolf i've got your PM if you want to elaborate more in this thread for the guys hopefully it could spur them on.
If we can raise a few quid then we can make it easier for you,you could be our RMC charity partner.
Post in here if you send money that way we can gauge how much is raised.
Thoughts.
I'll start the ball rolling with £5.00.
Make sure you put 'Charity' in the paypal comment box.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

First of all I would like to thank true blue and postman for their kindness
Just to make it clear, this is not an official charity but a charity support group. This is a new venture set up by me for people with neurological disabilities. Ie for people who are in the Neuro Diverse spectrum.
This Includes
Autism. Aspergus Syndrome. ADHD. Tourettes. Dyspraxia. Dycalicia. Dyslexia.
The Group is Lancashire, Adults, Neuro-Diverse Society. (or L.A.N.D.S for short.) It is developed from an early idea to have a lancashire adults dyspraxia support group.
To find out more about autism and such please click on these website
www.danda.org.uk --- London based orginisation deals with all aspect of ND
www.dyspraxiafoundation.org.uk --- Deals with dyspraxia only but mainly for kids and parents of said kids
www.colsal.org.uk/sites/daa/Homepage.asp --- Manchester based group
The reason why I have decided to start a lancashire based group are basically because the isn't many adult support group about, most support groups mainly deal with children and parents. The is defin not one in the lancashire region. So I felt that it A help me out and B be a good chance for people like me to meet.
I would like to see this group grow, I would like people to support, encourage and even have laugh with eachother. I also aim to try and educate employers and to help those with ND to work.
Any Financial help I could get would help me print out and deliver flyers altho what would be more useful if people clicks those links, find out and gain understanding, for those who know an adult like this inform he or she about this group.
Anyhow anyone wnats to know more please message me and I will send my infor, I will pass postman my email address to those that want to email.
Thanks
