He was a Labour MP, hes know with the angels

Knowing the way the firm going I wouldn't be surprise that they come up to me and give me the keys to the vans, even tho I haven't got a licence.

A point I would like to use is this, Why use your own car for delivaries, use their equipment, its not our fault that managers are idiots.

No medical,no training,no nothing,you got a licence(Although they don't actually check at the DO),you can drive.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

What about this one.
We had a lad who would always do overtime no matter what it was.
The guvnors loved him for it so they thought they would give him a van when one came back to do his docket in.
This happened all through the summer and near xmas he came into the Union room and asked if i could swing a day off for him because he had his DRIVING TEST and he did not want to fail!!!!!!!!!!!!!
f***ing couldnt make it up.
So in i went put it to the DOM and after i pulled him up off the floor he decided to get a bit more strict on who drives a van in future. Love it!

And he passed his test as a result of all the practice he had driving in the van ! :Very Happy

What happens when you get audited then ? We got audited last year and they found loads of log book 'gaps'. The managers got a bollocking for it and have been pretty keen about checks and stuff since then.
