Full timers need to complete 4 weeks of xmas pressure to qualify for (full) the xmas bonus

Part timers need to complete 2 weeks of xmas pressure to qualify for the (pro rata) xmas bonus

Sean, perhaps what he meant to say was:

'Sorry chap, put my mouth into gear before thinking. My apologies'

If I started at the end of September does that mean I'm not entitled to any of the Xmas payment? Its the first time I've worked somewhere and not even got £10 às goodwill for Christmas from an employer! They could of given new starters a pro rata payment surely?

100 divided by 37 hours = 2.70
2.70 times by 30 hours = 81.00

Have you checked your payslip?

If you joined end of Sep (so were in position on qualifying date of Mon 25/11) you should have qualified - pro rata of course.

If you started end of sept you will be on new terms and therefore paid monthly so you won’t see your payslip till next week.
If you worked the four weeks of Christmas pressure (last week of nov till end of next week) you should get the payment.

Again do not NEED to work the 4 weeks of christmas pressure.

Will this bonus be in my monthly pay on Dec 31 or is it a separate payment before Xmas?

I’m guessing in your monthly pay packet. Pro rata of course, another scam. Some of the new starts at ours put in a lot of hours.

So I’m on a 30hour contract and I’ve been paid £162 in total

But I’ve been working 60hours every week (10 hours per day)

So will I get another £162 in January or is it capped at £200?
