Three people arrested after an Evri courier was 'attacked by two rottweilers' remain on bail, police have said. The woman, who was making deliveries in Brierley Hill at the time, was left with 'serious' arm and leg injuries.

Police and medics were called to Norwood Road, Brockmoor, at around 1.25pm on Monday, December 2. The woman was taken to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment, while a man and two women were arrested on suspicion of owning/being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.

The man, who is in his 40s, and two women, one in her 70s and the second in her 50s, were later released on police bail while enquiries continued. The dogs, believed to be rottweilers, were seized at the scene and remain in secure kennels.

Providing an update on the investigation, a force spokesperson told BirminghamLive: "Three remain on bail as enquiries continue. The dogs remain in secure kennels."

Anyone who can help the police investigation was urged to pass on information via the live chat facility at www.west-midlands.police.uk or by calling 101. Quote log 2310 of December 2.
