Three people have been arrested in connection with the dog attack in Norwood Road

An Evri courier was 'mauled by two rottweilers' while making deliveries in Brierley Hill. Three people have been arrested after the woman was 'seriously injured' in the dog attack.
Emergency services were called to Norwood Road, Brockmoor, at around 1.25pm on Monday, December 2. The woman, who suffered serious arm and leg injuries, was taken to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.
A man and two women were arrested on suspicion of owning/being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in a public place. The dogs were seized at the scene and remained in secure kennels as the police investigation continued.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Three people have been arrested after a woman was seriously injured when she was attacked by dogs in Dudley yesterday. The woman is believed to have been making deliveries in Norwood Road, when two dogs, believed to be rottweilers, attacked her at just after 1pm.
"She suffered serious arm and leg injuries and was taken to hospital. A man in his 40s and two women, one in her 70s and the second in her 50s, were arrested on suspicion of owning/being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.
"They were later released on police bail while enquiries continue. The dogs were seized from the scene by police and remain in secure kennels as the investigation continues."
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to the scene at around 1.25pm. A spokeswoman said: "On arrival, crews discovered a woman with serious injuries who, following treatment from ambulance staff, was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital."
An Evri spokesperson said: “Couriers are at the heart of our business and their wellbeing is a top priority. Our thoughts are with the courier and her family, and we’re wishing her a fast and full recovery. We’re unable to comment on specifics of the incident due to the ongoing police investigation."
