Well Andy, as a Christian myself, I have to say that Jesus said "Turn the other cheek." He never once said "be a hand rag for managers and other assorted bully boys." Sorry mate, but I think some people these days are just too happy to follow this right-wing neo-evangelistic tripe from America. Check your history. The early trade-union movement involved many Christians including the Tolpuddle Martyrs. I'm looking forward to the next world, but currently I'm living in this one and I'm not prepared to stand by and watch people get trampled underfoot by the modern Pharisees we all know as Royal Mail Management. So here we are with the atheists, the Moslems, the Sikhs, the Jews and goodness only knows who else voting 'Yes' and all realising we have a common enemy who worship company profit far more than they regard the workers.

andy is a good lad with his own ideas and principles with many years service as a rep and as a postie maybe it is time to stop stabbing our own in the back and get on with the real problems which we are facing us now,there are probably a lot of people who owe him for his help over the years and if we continue to attack our own are we any better than the two ronnies who currently run our lives

Why do you want to call anyone names at all for what they believe in? Tell you whats sadder than someone crossing the picket line.... all of you stood there in the cold all day like fools with nothing better to do! If im striking then im doing something useful with the time!! Oh and who says you are right for striking and the 'strike breakers' are wrong anyway, what happened to free speech and the right to be treated fairly in the workplace for what you believe??

I tell you what also...... you know that statistic they came out with.. 40% underworked and so many % overpaid? well guess what? in my office id friggin agree with it haha, people stood around gossiping, texting, drinking tea etc etc NO ONE in my office works for more than oooh id say 60% of the working day...FACT, a lot of people dont work for 30% of the day!!! And the money they take home,FOR AN UNSKILLED JOB REMEMBER ,is quite good id say, show me a job an unskilled worker can walk into outside of royal mail and get the same pay? Basically you could train a monkey to do 99% of the jobs, YES THAT INCLUDES YOUR JOB haha, you could be replaced by any idiot off the street with 2 days training MAX!!! STOP WHINING AND GET SORTING HAHA. Fools dont know ya born!!!!

That's down to poor command & ignore managers, or failure to manage, neopotism , corruption and favourtism, fractionalism between all the grades, poor culture, political correctness, laziness on both sides, staff/managers who don't care, poor training. There are people who are bothered, 13 pages of closely typed, small font scathing comments on a have your say survey.However the problem is how this inefficency is dealt with.

Maybe you could use the alternative label for them

I like the first one best. Some of us don't go in for strong laguage and anyway, they're useful, strike breakers are no good to anyone.
