Conduct Code

Post by makingsounds »

Am I right that the principles within the Conduct Code still require a 1st day letter, a 48 hour review and a weekly letter when Precautionary suspended?

That a request or invite to a Formal Fact Finding meeting requires a 48 hour notice period in writing?

And when a case is passed up from a Fact Finding meeting to a 2nd Line manager, it requires a letter stating the case is being passed up as the decision may be outside the authority of the initial investigating manager?

Mostly correct but 2 days could be 5 days for serious cases.

Refer to page 27 managers role to actively look for mitigation.

Passing case up requires more then outside my level as you should understand what investigation had taken place for them to reach passing up

Key point corrective process and not punitive.

Refer to keeping records process as managers rarely document
