Just wondering Night Tonic, Alangate and Spedley if your office has a name for it or have you never heard of it happening at all ever.
Yes we have a name for its called soaking, over years that many have been caught out with bag searching as they go into there local office.its not done or if they do they are very foolish.

Most of the deliveries I do are each in a small area and not along main roads (I'm a floater).
This means that when you have completed your delivery you come past the houses you mispreped and can deliver it.
With 1st class mail I'd always deliver it, second class and mailsort wouldn't bother me much if I wasn't going near the address again and then I'd just claim that I wasn't sure if it required redirecting.
