It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Is that bringing mail back to the office to deliver it the next day? If it is then it doesn't happen in my DO therefore we've no nickname for it.

Sort of,like when you cant be bothered to say deliver at the top of some flats, you either put it through the system by putting it in a post box or sneak it in your bag the next morning.

Bit like on the old 2nd delivery when you had naff all to deliver, you would 'shabb those flats as they only had one letter'

Disclaimer:This is a hypothetical thread. :nervous

got fireproof people promotion to management on delivery at one time in a Lancs County town, a typical RM tactic

.Seen this with another union , there was the usual fiddles and dodges that got done , provided that you didn't take the p*** or make it too obvious , a blind eye was turned .Probably a bit too lax .

Then you got the poachers turned gamekeepers , a army of s****hawks , people looking for any little thing to make mountains out of molehills and make a name for themselves so the only way was by the book and give the overzealous b**tards nowt .

The pettiness was a union bashing agenda to create a culture of fear , plenty of reps got neutralized with promotion.

Dogging it - not that kind of dogging  - but cos people who do it (and I don't :confused :angel ) claim a dog was loose.

Of course no one on this website does it Night Tonic, Alangate and Spedley we are just trying to educate ourselves so that we can tell when others do something naughty. As in Forewarned is forearmed. Also POSTMAN did say it was hypothetical.

Just wondering Night Tonic, Alangate and Spedley if your office has a name for it or have you never heard of it happening at all ever.
