Postal unions push through attack on pensions

UK postal workers are currently voting on pension reforms demanded by Royal Mail. Both the Communication Workers Union (CWU) and Unite, which represents postal managers, are balloting their members following the end of the company’s consultation period.
Royal Mail’s demands amount to legalised robbery. It wants to close the current final salary pension scheme with defined benefits from April 1 and transfer existing and new staff to a scheme linked to “career averageâ€

Couldn't agree more!
Keith Lee has said exactly what I know most postal workers are feeling.
We are sick to death off Leighton & Croziers bulls**t.
We are fed up with weak union leaders who are willing to sell our jobs down the stream so as to promote their own political gain.
We are fed up with a Labour party government who couldn't give a s**t about Royal Mail, the Post Office or the customers who will suffer under the proposed changes to both the collection & delivery of their Mail & to the closures of 2,500 PO counters.
The only thing wrong with Keiths article is the fact he says the Government are the only share holder.
We the tax payers are the share holders & as share holders & employees of RM we should stand against the tyranny that has set the wheels in motion to destroy the last great public service that exsists in this historic land.
EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AS TO WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THEIR POSTAL SERVICE.
REPLACE OUR UNION LEADERS WITH SOMEONE WITH BACKBONE FOR THE FIGHT
REMOVE ALL UNION DONATIONS TO THE LABOUR PARTY
AND LETS FIGHT TO SAVE OUR JOBS
