Recruitment ghosting?

Hi everyone, I applied for postperson role a few weeks ago, did all the online tests etc, about a week later I get an email to say ‘congratulations you’ve been shortlisted for the position, a recruiter will be in contact within 72 hours to arrange an interview’,that was Thursday, 5 days later no phone calls or correspondence? The online status still says ‘under review’..

This happened to me 15 years ago, I emailed to see what was happening, 2 weeks later got a reply saying sorry you haven't been contacted the lady dealing with recruitment has been on holiday.

RM recruitment finally phoned me today to arrange an interview for Friday :)
