Just been diagnosed copd does anyone know royal
Mail’s policy on this will I still keep my job or will the give me ill health retirement

There is no hard and fast rule it will depend on how much it affects your daily life, with COPD if you can carry on work with adjustments then RM are
normally allow this as long as you get medical advice, and they may ask to get someone on their side to make a medical judgement.
A severe case of COPD will allow you to take IHR amd it won't affect your pension pot, and in some cases may allow you to take the benefots early without loss.
However, rather than ask on here you need professional advice. If you are a member of the CWU then go to your branch's Equality Officer as they are trained in exactly this sort of issue. If not in the Union then Citizens Advice is a good secondary option for the same reason.
