LTB 251/24 – Your Voice in the Workplace – July 2024
No. 251/24
17th July 2024
TO: ALL POSTAL BRANCHES
Dear Colleagues
Your Voice in the Workplace – July 2024
Please find attached the July Workplace Bulletin.
We will be sending you out a limited print run (approx. 10 per cent of branch membership) of this Edition, which should reach you by the end of this week for distribution to your reps to take into workplaces.
You also have the link to print immediate copies and/or to print off more copies.
It is crucial that branches are distributing the monthly bulletin in every workplace. The purpose is to ensure members are receiving written content from the union directly into their workplaces, so your role in that process is integral.
Thank you for your support and please contact us with your feedback on the Bulletin.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

So the fliers still come in brown envelopes to the workplace. If there is a Union rep in the workplace they get distributed or put up on the board.
If there is no Local union rep they gather dust and then get binned or just get binned.
If there is no local union rep the paid members in those offices don't see or hear a area rep or adjacent union rep. They just get bined like the brown envelopes. I thought better of you Martin. More fool me.

That’s disgraceful. The area rep should be making sure offices without a rep are displaying all info.RTP wrote: ↑11 Sep 2024, 22:13So the fliers still come in brown envelopes to the workplace. If there is a Union rep in the workplace they get distributed or put up on the board.

’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’
