HEROIC posties saved the lives of NINETEEN people last year, it can be revealed today.
Many will be honoured tonight at an awards ceremony hosted by Sun columnist Lorraine Kelly.
Royal Mail’s 1st Class People Awards will salute their often-unseen work and efforts.
Heroes include Mark Casewell, of Stoke-on-Trent, who rescued an 87-year-old woman from her blazing house and first-aider Derek Neave, of Fleetwood, Lancs, who saved a baby after its heart stopped beating.
