SHAMELESS MPs yesterday launched a High Court bid to keep their expenses secret — and the fight will cost taxpayers a fortune.

The last-ditch legal stand follows a three-year battle to force the release of claims made by 14 leading MPs, including Gordon Brown and David Cameron.

The Commons has already blown more than £50,000 of taxpayers’ cash trying to fend off freedom of information campaigners. The High Court action will cost at least £100,000.

And critics said many MPs were running scared of what could come out, particularly about money spent on second homes.

Furious campaigner Heather Brooke last night blasted what she called a “theatrical farceâ€

Why do these parasites need second homes anyway? All they need is a big old block of derelict flats in central London. Do em up posh with good security. All the MPs can have one and stay there when they need to stay in London for a vote or whatever. When they lose their seat, the flat is passed to the next MP.Simple, secure and save us MUGS an absolute fortune.

If he is a Marxist that he is a strange one, possibly based on the Chinese Model of letting big business make money but crushing freedom of speech and ignoring the working population. Well he does 2 but if he had the chance I'd bet he do the missing one as well.
