ok they may be at fault slightly for letting you claim the OT but it probably wont get you off in the slightest, but what you have done could easily be classed as fraud, so i would be very very careful about it this, and recommend speaking to your rep and or area rep asap, if i were you i would be apologising and offering to work back the time as soon as you can, and try to get any action stopped before it becomes a big issuemakingsounds wrote:B.......ft on a rehab of 6 hrs per day, instead of 06.30 until 14.30, was on 08.30 until 14.30 but worked an hour over three timeszx135 wrote:could you clarify something, makingsounds wrote:So, how should this be handled, on a 75% outdoor plan, near the end of my time and I have roughly an hours work left which I complete in good faith. I then claim 1 hours overtime which is signed off by management and paid, this happens several times whilst on rehab. It is then questioned by management on the fourth occasion and a charge of claiming the previous overtime is made as they are now saying I'm not entitled to it. I may have been in the wrong but surely by them signing it off and paying it, they are at fault for allowing it to happen?
are you:
A working over your contracted hours ie in excess of 7hr48 per day and claiming OT(or over your part time hours and same)
or
B on rehab plan of 5 hours per day but on ft or pt contract with more hours, then working 6 and claiming 1 hr ot for the excess over 5 hours

Regardless of what should have happened what you have done is borderline fraud, you should be looking to make amends rather than shift blame or by making out you were only trying to help out, makingsounds wrote:so, what should of happened was the work just got undelivered and returned to the office.

Re: Claiming overtime whilst on re-hab
Anyone know if you can or should be scheduling OT when on Ocupational Health referral?
Ie working your full hours but on light duties.
Or just claiming to have a bad back / sore feet etc
& what is “pre-scheduled overtime”? is that SA?
Can you take an SA if your on light / amended duties? (working full hrs)?
