The SNP have more seats than the racist reform party. Annihilated? :chuckle
The snp are more racist than reform they despise the english, they have caused nothing but division up here.
It seems pretty united now.
Believe me that mob are still stirring up division, there are folk up here still not talking after the referendum 10 years later they still harping on about another referendum, they are like a broken down record player heres hoping they take a hammering in the Scottish election in 2 years as well

What do think of Labour looking at a means testing the State Pension, Lou?
I have no problem with it. But then I would have no problem paying more taxes either, if it actually resulted in services that are fit for purpose. But then I am just a big old lefty commie.

Knock yourself self out, the email address above lets you pay voluntary donations to the HMRC.
Exactly Milly. Lou should be the change they want to see! Looks like they just shout the loudest though. :chuckle
Its one of the highest taxed countries and you want to pay more :confused

Wouldn’t you pay a little more tax if it meant you had services that actually worked?

Whichever party won, lowering taxes was not an option.

You can guarantee that if we pay more taxes they will be used to improve services?
More likely it would be wasted employing some useless overpaid bureaucrats.

If you’d paid attention to what Rachel Reeves has been saying for a long time, it won’t be those with the least.

You said that Red Rachel wouldn't be taxing those with the least which is totally untrue if she keeps the income tax thresholds the same.
You do know what fiscal drag is?

You’re arguing with yourself Milly. I thought you were chuffed to bits about Nige, but instead you’re having a panic attack about where taxes will be raised.

You're using your usual tactic of changing the subject when you've been caught out.
What is Red Rachel going to do to help the low paid?
All I can see is that she's going to have the low paid workers paying more tax.
Also Labour look to be privatising the NHS by stealth with the appointment of Blairite Alan Milburn.
I really can't see any difference between Labour and the Tories  .

People who can afford to pay more tax should pay more, but we have been conditioned by wealthy media owners to question this, for obvious reasons. Increase corporation tax, tax the rich more in general. Hell, as I said before, if I have to pay more tax so kids don’t starve, and the NHS becomes functional, I will take the hit frankly. I’ve had my mortgage and utility bills increase MASSIVELY in the last few years, and that increase goes into making rich companies richer, it doesn’t help the economy or people struggling. I’d rather pay more tax than make shareholders richer.
