Annual leave allocation

Post by 24601 »

Received a letter in the post today from our DOM

Seems she's concerned about the amount of annual leave outstanding that has yet to be booked by some members of staff.

Anyone with more that 5 days annual leave must book by 27th June.

After that she will allocate vacant leave slots in her Manpower Plan and notify people accordingly.

Quite frankly I'm amazed by this ---- I mean she's got a plan ????????????????????

:Very Happy

We had to picks ours as far back as March as the Lino gets confused if we do it later. For last year we had to pick before Christmas 95.

We normally have to work 12-18 months in advance.

Not easy trying to plan holidays or avoiding term time dates working that far in advance.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
