Was told on induction way back to use best judgement and get creative if needs be with non signature items. Have done so ever since and it’s always been ok if a photo is taken and a card is left.

Has anyone else noticed that there is rarely a DOR on an item that has not had its portrait taken or scanned for GPS or signed for?
It seems to be that the less you track an item, the less likely it is to be allegedly disappeared.
Probably because RM only offer a half dozen stamps as compensation for those items.
