Re: Holidays
Mine just isn’t showing the hours I’ve carried over. I hope they will just reappear once the new holiday period gets underway but worth keeping an eye on. Was 10 hours nowhere near 5 days worth…

Re: Holidays
Chill thy f***ing beans on this one.
systems a bag of s**t, but it does, more or less, work. Give it a few days. I'd say at least until Tuesday (NEXT week) for the rollover to actually apply, before you start whining.

Not a big RM fan, but on this one, they use https://www.sap.com/uk/index.html, it's not exactly the business at fault for things not being instant in this case.

A: for using something that isn’t compatible with what they need
B: by not explaining either in the app or through another means of message that people’s leave will disappear from showing due to them using something not compatible with their needs.
As usual RM’s technology is absolutely dog s**t. It doesn’t work for customers or staff - the worrying thing is that it is this s**t technology that they are performance managing people with. In time to come I think your gonna be seeing staff who’ve been fired using this technology being successful in suing the company to clear their name
of any wrongdoing. Ring any bells?

When you look into SAP they’ve been frequently charged and fined for bribery in various nations within Africa amongst other things.GRS wrote: ↑01 Apr 2024, 21:14Sorry but it is their fault.R5001 wrote: ↑01 Apr 2024, 20:54Not a big RM fan, but on this one, they use https://www.sap.com/uk/index.html, it's not exactly the business at fault for things not being instant in this case.

’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’

Apparently the managers have to manually approve the carried over hours.

Yes, it's now on the app and carried forward.
BUT- note the date; clearly says to 31st August so use by then or lose them.

Re: Holidays
I noticed the hours I booked for annual leave in May 2024 have been taken from my purchased leave, which is normal. My point is that the hour I carried over is still available.
I am wondering for those who have carried over up to 5 days & booking these A/L hours to use up before August.
My example shows that the leave you book is not automatically the carry over leave.
