It is absolutely crap at Croydon Mail Centre now area rep does nothing except takes friday of and works from home have you heard anything like this at your Mail Centre what is the point in paying subs I might as well save the money each week if people took a stand and stopped paying I bet they would take notice.

I think you have just answered your own question.

They are rising too, by 17p per week.

Why not put your union subs into a pension AVC ? :cuppa

Yes is the simple answer to the question.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Its essential for me. Each time we get a new manager they target me almost straight away. The union gets them to back off. Its happened with three of them now. I would be up to the eyeballs with councelling and coaching interviews and letters otherwise. Not being much of a fighter anymore and a bit quiet, this seems to attract the new managers to the easiest target. I work with some loud and aggressive types, the others being great manipulators or in strong alliances. Nationally the last agreement was a bit weird I think because ACAS got involved and a compromise had to be reached on absolutely every point raised.
