Kronenbourg , you like it ???
I think it's like water, I prefer dark beer it contains more flavour like Pelforth .
"kro premier cru" I don't know how it is .... maybe it's good ! English people are experts about beer so I believe you ;)
there's experts , I went to a real ale do @ Fleetwood bus from favourite watering hole and admission for £5 , cracking beers , some imported lagers , real cider which is literally like apple juice with a kick ,, not that horrible gassy stuff or chav fuel, Landlady got trollied on English Perry wines but as for CAMRA ( Campaign for Real Ale ) don't go there .

Post Office Limited is POL , it's a seperate business within the umbrella of the Royal Mail Group , there's been a link to a newspaper article posted on here about turning their staff into high pressure salesmen .

The Subpostmistress didn't have time to bother with all that yesterday , she simply served people with what they wanted to pay for .It's silly as they'll lose good staff , but we've a spivvy dog food salesman as Chairman of RM , so that's the culture , trying to sell what you haven't got

BIT LIKE MY LOCAL ! THOUGH I'D HAPPILY TAKE LEIGHTON & CROZIER FOR A DRINK IN THAT MURDERERS ARMS PUB ! lol

MURDERERS. Need to dispose of a body? Simply parcel it up and post it to yourself via DHL. You will never see it again.

Turbine63 how many leaflets do you deliver to houses each week, my mum lives in the Charente(16) and says the postman always brings shop leaflets. Also at Christmas do you sell Calendars to your customers to make a bit of extra money?

Combien de suppléments-vous livrer à domicile chaque semaine? Ma mère vit dans la Charente (16) et me dit que le facteur leur apporte. Vendez-vous des calendriers de Noël à faire un peu d'argent supplémentaire?
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

"Royal Mail " and another : "Post Office"

What's the difference ??
The last Conservative Government split the Post Office into four seperate 'businesses' in order
to make them easier to privatise (sell off) -
Royal Mail which deals with letter post and small packets.
Parcelforce which deals with parcels.
Post Office (Counters) Ltd which runs the high street Post Offices where the public buys stamps
and gets different services,
And Girobank which was sold to the Alliance & Leicester Building Society (Bank).

They also split off the telephone part of the Post Office and privatised it - now called British
Telecomm, a private company.

Ok I understand
In France, they 'd separated "La Poste" in 2 society :
- "La Poste" witch is about letters and parcel
- " La Banque Postale" witch deals all other products, (financials, bank, stamps, ...)

We deliver between 5 to 15 leaflets per week , it is changeable when we are in a period of christmas, Easter etc ...
Mailmen sell Calendar at the and of the year (only those who are with tenure on a delivery). people like me who are replacements, dont have the right to sell it . With it, they earn more of one month of salary.
You don't sell It in UK ???

No we don't sell anything to earn extra money at Christmas. The guys on delivery take out leaflets(D2D's)throughout the year and get paid for doing them, 3 a week at the moment.

There may be the odd photo on here, but as a rule we would not be allowed to publish them,it's a government building/official secrets act, blah blah blah.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Sorry Postman, the RM2000's are way to small, they must be twice that size now, well mine is. Must be a very old photo and there seems to be a lot of space in that office and not much mail. Last time I saw an office like that was on BBC's 'Sorted'. :nana

That photograph is included as part of Royal Mail's Equal Opportunity Policy and celebrates the diversity of staff working for the company. :coolr Anyone criticising or making fun of that man is likely to be accused of bulling and harrassment. :Very Happy
