No. The original sick policy was 6 months. You must have been on a stage because of that. It changed sometime in August.

Re: New Sick policy
I was given a stage 1 even though I hadn’t been off since January 23 and was not on any warnings. I was off 5 days in January 24. Does this seem correct?

I wasn’t put on any stage as I was off due to a bereavement.sweepster70 wrote: ↑13 Jan 2024, 17:29No. The original sick policy was 6 months. You must have been on a stage because of that. It changed sometime in August.

Re: New Sick policy
Is there any change to part days? For example if someone goes into work then goes sick after a few hours , that didn’t used to count as an absence to trigger stage 1 etc, does it now?

If you have more than 2 part days in a 6 month period they will write to you saying along the lines of 1 more part day may count in the attendance procedure.
