Re: ILL HEALTH RETIREMENT
Mine didn't put through my leaving figures in time and as a result I was taxed at emergency code and paid over £4000 in tax. Now I have to wait until taxman decides to send refund. And I'm still waiting on the final payslip! Royal Mail at their best.

Re: ILL HEALTH RETIREMENT
For anyone who is going through the process of ill health
Make sure you either mention to your manager about chasing up any unused Annual leave OR
Use the People app to contact HR within the SAME day as you sign the ill health agreement.
I've had a confirmation email that i sent them a msg about chasing up annual leave i have built up.
I also attached a screenshot of my actual page from the people app to them (majority of Android phones to take a screenshot in press at the same time the power button and volume down button) so that way then they Know how many hours i am owed.
I'm owed 261 hours which is a HUGE amount to miss out on if your Don't take the chance or mention it to your manager, as reported in previous posts some managers have pulled a fast one with this so be one step ahead ;)

Re: ILL HEALTH RETIREMENT
They need to see it due to proof of medical history, pathway of medical treatment for your current problems.fallenworld202233 wrote: ↑18 Dec 2023, 20:36anyone on here went through ill health where they didnt ask for your medical reports? seems a bit over the top when they have ur sick lines
when i did mine because a previous temp manager asked for the medical records, i'd already had the pages that i needed so i uploaded the two pages that stated my conditions to the Health partners online portal and now the ex line manager , she started with my medical records, flicked through them and understood what was going on cos she had a conversation with me about it on the phone.

Re: ILL HEALTH RETIREMENT
Just left after 36 years ihr severe depression and chronic knee pain. just had operation but suffering badly with osteoarthritis . honestly this company couldn't care less about your health and wellbeing they just ignore oh recommendations doctors and physiotherapist reports and the worst part was was my local union reps ignored my pleas for help .so they could preserve their cushy numbers. I'm glad to be out but it's left a bitter feeling after all those years.

Are Bank Holidays part of your holiday entitlement and if so, are they included in your Annual Leave.
