It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Does anyone know what time the result is to be announced.

Likely if they let the press in, then there will be something on BBC news 24 or Sky news live and if I've got my walk finished by that time I'd love to watch.

I'm in on my day off tomorrow (on my own walk) and as is the rule in our office you come in at eight on your day off and hopefully your walk will have been prepped for you - if, as some of the lads have recently found, it hasn't been and the day is anything like today was - I shall look forward to seeing the result on the 6 o'clock news lol

I usually do it the other way - If they want me to I will come in a 6.00 and throw it off - but someone else has to take it out.
