The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
So why are we told to deliver every Tracked item including letter box sized items and not just the oversized parcels?
Because customers pay a premium to have it sent using the Tracked service. I don't agree with it as the price of postage has increased for letters and as someone mentioned the standards and non-tracked are often not being delivered. Like I said it's the only target that we can hit and it makes the managers look a bit better in our office.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

not giving it the no big man, just saying it as it is. I was far from the quiet one in my office, yet again shows what you know jumping to conclusions
RM put out this incentive knowing full well that only one target was deliberately going to be hit. It perfectly suits them that the USO targets are failing because
1. They don't pay us any of the bonus
2. They only want to deliver letters a few days a week
3. They want to deliver parcels 7 days a week

Anyone aware of a blocked fire exit in their building has a responsibility to clear it. It's not like discovering you got a fake pound coin as change and fob it off on someone else.
