Network review.

Any news on when and what our hours are going to be changing to from April ?

Last I heard we’re all meant to find out in December.

No they’re not. Those are indicative times and final confirmation for each office was meant to be announced after the network review👍

A definitive answer for each office was supposed to be announced at the start of November.

It’s been postponed until the start of December due to “complications”

Those complications I imagine will mean a last letter time of 6pm and 10,000’s blaming the union

They won’t dare announce the horrendous new start/finish times before 23rd December, morale is already through the floor so they won’t want to rock the boat even more during Xmas pressure, we are Christmas after all. Most likely be told in January, the union will write a massive essay hissy fit on Facebook about it being “against the spirit of the agreement”. Then it will happen anyway without any pushback.

I predict they'll announce rm want something stupid like 7pm last letter, CWU will respond with a strongly worded letter, RM will counter offer 4.30-5pm which they really wanted, CWU accept and hail it as a victory

If we take it then that RM have us at 39 hour week for the rest of our days then that equates to about £12.69 per hour!

£495 ÷39 = £12.69

I think many Delivery Offices are in for a shock when RM announce their expected arrival of mail and new start times next year.Probably be 4/5pm last letter letting parcels go beyond (as they do now) then travel back to office.
I expect between 5pm and 6pm finish time is coming.
