Haven't got the agreement to hand but I would have thought that as any local flexibility agreement
is for next year (not last year), the payment, if triggered, should be for all employees in the unit.

ok it wasn't royal mail that fooked up pensions..lets get that straight..all was rosey till the union backed labour party stuck the stealth tax on pensions.because the only way they could get elected was to promise no direct tax increases and the plebs fells for it.but it was good news for unions as everybody now blames royal mail ,more join the union ..even labour doesn't get money for nothing.as for builders paying the tories ,it may be true you may have heard something i havnt but the whole cash for honours row was about the head of one of Britain's biggest building firms giving money to labour and getting a lordship..of coarse it doesn't help that RM never put in for 17 yreas but then that money would have gone down the swanny too..political opt out payment form....do you really think the union contrabutions to labour will go down....

ok its a fact that 17yreas ago Tories were running the country and allowed royal mail to take a payment holiday for the simple fact that pension funds were bursting .......thats a fact ..please try to use brain.and they stayed that way till they had there value wiped out by the taxes on pension surpluses and the stock market wiped umm out completely...
had the 17 yrs they owe now been in their it would be pissed up against gordon browns wall too....

But whoever caused the deficit does not matter, what matters is that when the fund went into deficit why did they not start paying back in. The Pensions members did and if Royal Mail could take a holiday why couldn't they.

Oh I know 30 years of pro-business policies and look after yourself party politics, and bugger the social impact. Darwinism may work in nature but it has impact on individuals and communities when applied to national or local services.

Conservatives and New Labour to me at least appear to have a short sighted view on most things. They don't seem able to predict or perhaps care what effect their policies will have long term. Look at the NHS Policies from both parties have seen an increase in Managers and Administration/Bureaucracy yet the number of Nurses and Medical staff has barely kept pace with them.

Mind you Brown has gone one step further - MPs are meant to be "Servants of the People" yet he has never gone to the "people" to see if he has their backing, he has ignored a ground swell of opinion about the EU and the new treaty, and he is still pushing ID cards as he thinks they are good for the nation, yet he never really explains why, (well at least to my satisfaction)

Also fact - CWU Subscriptions to the political fund have gone down - that other site did a report on it last year.

We still have no agreement in SW London and will not get one untill conduct issues we have with reps within our branch have been resolved.Not getting the £400 will not be the end of the world,people getting treated fair and proper is more important to be honest.

All our Area has been signed off.Lets see if R/M keep thier side of the bargain and pay the £400.
I see it the same as you cantype, the 3.5 delivery span still stands even if you finish 2hrs b4 time.
Be interesting to see if management use the half extra ontop for outdoor or indoor work as we know that Phase 2 is for indoor work only. But again if we don't make time SHAME. Don't they know that the good will of people will cease in most area's, they will never learn.

How long must you have worked at RM to qualify for the payment, I've been there since September working the late shift in the sorting office on Primarys?
Is there any other qualifying criteria I should be aware of?
