It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

A 13% turnout.
That is truly shocking.
That is truly shocking.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Quite a mandate!
Unfortunately corporations (capital) are winning quite impressively versus labour.

So what happens to Dave Ward and the other bloke standing for dgsp, do they have jobs in the union to fall back on, we're a bit short of posties if they fancy a change, oh is that bald prick with the beard still being paid from our subs or has he done the decent thing and resigned ?

Let’s just be honest here,Carl maden and Martin Walsh have been toeing company line like rest of them.
Do people understand what self preservation actually means?
They only care about themselves unfortunately

This result demonstrates that the 'leadership' of the CWU represents a minority. Carl is engaged in serious discussions with employers whilst commanding the support of an even smaller minority than Martin. Neither candidate has the support of the rank and file no matter which way it is spun.
