not a single person in our d/o were fooled by the bribe on offer, it is a million miles away from achievable, maybe it was 2 years back but with the complete lack of trust added with the unachievable workloads now and we have lost around 25 experienced staff this year,
every day i read of towns across the country complaining of the delays, RM still blame sickness,and if there are more, then who put them there?
we have had several agency start and whilst they mean well they most simply cannot perform at a decent standard enough to get us on target,
every day we are falling further behind

I would tread carefully with this incentive scheme (scam). People that are willing to go that extra mile and complete there delivery without incurring any overtime have to be careful.

After Xmas the folk that want to cut off might not be able to because they completed there walk without any issues during Xmas. See the big picture for what it's worth, and it's not worth the paper that it's written on. Management will use any thing against you, in the near future i.e traffic figures pda actuals. I am very skeptical about the whole bonus scheme. Even if we do tick all the right boxes week in, week out, how much do you think management will get?

This is why the statement from the union on this is that members shouldn't be pressured or feel like they have to work beyond their contracted hours.
Most offices will still pay of top for the postie to stay out and complete.
If they don't then just cut off.
You will end up giving them more each day than the bonus is even worth.
Surely this is self explanatory though.
I would expect most people are wise enough to realise this and tell their guv'nors to poke it if they expect them to stay out and complete without paying them according.
If you stay out and your delivery takes you an hour or two longer than they are designed to because of the workload than that will be transparent in the data.
I very much doubt they will use the data in the future from peak period.
They are more likely to use it from a light period if they are trying to manipulate the stats.

I can't understand all the fuss, we all know letters arnt that important to royal mail,so all we have to do is clear the Tracked items within shift time and if you can't get rid of your letters bring them.back, easy, or make a judgement and leave loops in

How come I'm hearing of offices meeting the weekly bonus but aren't anywhere near meeting the USO or tracked %??? People fiddling the figures again??

My confusion is trying to understand how achieving the bonus level of performance can be used against us in the future. People must be doing paid overtime to complete? The three rounds that I do would take 1 to 2 hours o/t to complete at this time of year. Surely there can't be rounds left that are achievable? By the way I am not doing the ot, just prioritising parcels and rotating the mail.

There are folk living in denial on here.

Some offices clear because they’re really easy to work in. These same offices finish early (still), and this £250 will be theirs with no extra effort.

They don’t need false enthusiasm or staged photo ops, they’re just chuffed at getting a freebie.

I know it’s not right or fair but that’s how the company is, even now. If there are 10 offices within 15 miles, they’re all run completely differently.
