1.) Aboyne SPDO (AB34)
2.) Bristol South DO (BS3, BS13 and BS41)
3.) Bristol South East DO (BS4 and BS14)
4.) Herne Hill DO (SE24)
5.) Paulton SUDO (BS39)
6.) Thetford DO (IP24, IP25, IP26 and IP27)
Units that report three consecutive days of 30% of DPs failing USO gets you on the list and public RM service disruption website. Then you need three consecutive days below 30% to get off the list (well below and back to stable USO)
The six exponentials theorem guarantees (given the right conditions on the exponents) the transcendence of at least one of a set of exponentials.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Offices 'officially' in trouble?
It is concerning to see the state Royal Mail has come to, it's a business that cannot work as a privatised company because of the nature of mainly delivering letters which is not the money maker it used to be especially rebates later mailsorts, we now have parcels on top of it, if DPD, Amazon and Evri are cutting cost to the bone it must mean their profit margin is very thin.jessicarabbit wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 21:24We need a new updated definition of failure. I still remember being scared to bring back a piece of Mailsort on a Saturday. Now I have to choose which row I will leave in or which roads I feel deserve getting a delivery. I'm 50 and during the recent IA I told people I just want to do 10 more years. I now genuinely believe the business won't last 10 more months before it completely implodes.
Privatisation has done more damage than anything else, we have Vince Cable to blame for that.
I think 10 months is a bit dramatic, 2-3 years is more likely, the top tier management needs to wake up and smell the coffee before it's too late as even they will be out of a job, in the event of a catastrophic failure the Government may have to pick up the pieces.
I'm thinking of jumping ship at some future point of my choosing, meanwhile my local office is struggling with staff leaving, new starters quitting as soon as they see the workload, sick absences and mail stacked high on tray for deliveries not covered.

They're not going to be sleeping rough when it implodes. What's the worst that'll happen to Simon? His car allegedly getting keyed last year? Getting grilled by a parliamentary committee? I'm sure he'll forever be tortured by these memories while skipping to the bank.
The machine stops.

Re: Offices 'officially' in trouble?
Since it's 30% DPs sustained over three days, you may find there's a whole bunch of offices sitting at two days just waiting to make the list tomorrow. Sure enough it's jumped to 12. Pretty sure we broke 30% today but if we drop back into the 20s tomorrow no-one will ever know.
The machine stops.
