Talk in our office that it’s a £50 a week bonus on a cleared office for a 10 week period with last week being week 1.

Can't see how it could work on an office wide basis, one person isn't interested and the rest miss out. :d'oh!

I better apologise to my office before this gets started then. Soz guys. I intend to carry on working as per normal. Nice steady pace. This company is not deserving of anyones loyalty at the moment. We dug in for them during Covid and they then stuck two fingers up to us all.

Exactly 💯 except for us that attitude has been pre COVID.

Everyone and i mean everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But everyone and i mean everyone is entitled to criticise that opinion.
If you put it out their and expect nobody to question it or criticise it perhaps you shouldn't put it out there in the first place.
I would like to think we are all thick-skinned enough to cope with it and not resort to "i am telling on you" but really i don't care.
If some self righteous person thinks people are stalking/harassing them, when in reality they are just being critical, they need to grow up.
We are all big boys/girls/thems? and should be able to take criticism on the chin.
And remember if you type it, own it, and be prepared for the onslaught.
Debate is fine scotchy. Following people round forums just to dish out insults is another thing. I get it, people post on here late at night, after they are perhaps a little ‘relaxed’ and might get carried away. I just don’t appreciate being followed around these forums by people who have beef with me in other threads, because they are still *still* bitter that they lost the vote on the agreement.

They drag these threads off topic by doing so and ruin the place for everyone. Attack the opinion, not the poster. That or just ignore.
I doubt anybody follows you around they just see your posts on the most recent threads, as I regularly do, given you seem to post on most recent threads I'd imagine it would be hard to not see your recent posts TBH.
Told ya. Same three people time and time again. My groupies. My stalkers. Still bitter.

A couple of people on here like to think that they have the last word. That they and only they are the voice of reason. They are condescending, dismissive , patronising and often damn right rude. So out of kilter with general opinion that they attack each and every post that disagrees with their compatible managerial view.
One can throw a hissy fit and swear like a trooper. The other, who works in an idealistic workplace, that we eventually found out had failed like the rest of us, despite him saying otherwise tries bruiser tactics .... Like I'll take you down the conduct code for no agreeing with me.

That’s my bonus gone then, cut off everyday this week! What I didn’t have I won’t miss.

what is the likelihood that a 'performance bonus' will be turned against you as a 'performance target' in the future?

Isn't that exactly what's happened with management incentives? Successfully reducing your annual office expenditure leaves you with less the following year when you have to repeat the trick again. They trimmed the fat for a decade and instead of the fat disappearing it was the USO.

Even if they dangled job & finish this Christmas I still wouldn't clear because it physically cannot be done.
The machine stops.
