Wonder if all line managers in DOs will get sent out on deliveries each day. Once everyone has headed out on their walks, why does a DO need more than just a DOM/Lead COM in the DO when there's probably only a couple of people to manage (Callers and SD Locker) and any paperwork that needs doing. In MCs any staff or managers who aren't in roles that are "mission critical" are made to go on the floor and help out, spending their shifts in processing rather than whatever back office jobs they normally have.

Overtime on tap and a bonus at Christmas? Happy days.
I always thought you was a troll,this confirms it😫
Wasting your time with this halfwit, he will accuse you of bullying him/trolling him and just keep toadying up to his mate Aiden or is it his other profile?
Then again who gives a feck what they have to say.
You obviously do as you are still obsessed by me. Get over it.

Instead of all this work your socks off and kill yourself just for a £500 bonus, how about a decent overtime rate ? Time and half and double time Saturday and Sunday. Watch every office get cleared. It use to work. What other company reward you less if you do OT ?

While the no life, greedy lot continue to work 60 /70 hours a week on less per hour than standard rate the overtime rate will never change. Why would R/M change it? They must be loving it.

Royal Mail treat us like s*it, bully us, intimidate us, discriminate, lie to all and sundry...and now they need us to rescue Christmas. Forget it. Take your pathetic, false bribe and stick it. I'll come in, work hard, do the job I'm paid to do, then go home on time. Not rescuing any management ass. They've created this mess, they can deal with it.

£500 for killing your mental and physical health trying to complete these humongous duties in the bleak of winter. Sickening. No thankyou :speak to the hand

Wonder how long it'll take the system to get jammed up with various offices running out of room, even even sending stuff onto the next office along the chain, whether that office can handle it or not. Could we see a repeat of last year when there was a queue or artics waiting to get into NDC (maybe other RDCs and the hubs this year)?

My office is already struggling and it’s a purpose built unit which is only 10 years old. They’ve also just bought in 3 largish SPDOs which filled up any spare space we had.

If you don't sign up to this I expect they will threaten to move you off your duty. That won't work for many but I expect a few will buckle.

Exactly, it will be to their detriment to start doing that. You will be delivering even less
