You would think in this day and age that payroll could get the money into our account any day really rrespective of bank holidays etc.

They did all the preliminary work to send the money to our accounts a day early, but hit a major obstacle. When the computer displayed the message 'To process payroll on 20th March, press any key', the numbnut in charge said
