RM Giving us ridiculous work loads(failing uso),then having the audacity to “monitor”our performance😱,this is crazy🤯🤯,the fact our so called union are clearly onboard with this,is a kick in nuts to everyone that’s contributed over years.I can’t believe what’s happening right now,I’m deeply saddened by this & feel like we are being bullied from all angles.
We need to stand up together, the CWU are clearly not defending us anymore, are they?🥲🥲🥲

Gold, silver, bronze and purple?
Why purple?
Wasn't Tinky-Winky the purple Tellytuby?
How are the groupings worked out? Workplace suggests the criteria being used is 1st time delivery, complaints, SISO and Trimble scoring?

I see no other way other than a Manager to directly score you for the Purple areas that include negative attitude towards others etc.
They will have the ability to effectively mark you out of a job!

Welcome to our world Valentina. We've had this at our office since 2010. No staff, duties over 1K deliveries, for one duty and we have more and more now with new build and lapsed.

The job is impossible.

I'm more awestruck the union actually thought this was a good idea in the first place and would actually be anything positive to it's members.

Did you actually read the press release you are frothing at the mouth about? In particular the part that threatens industrial action. The union aren’t supporting this at all. Engage your brain.

I've copied the section that relates to that.

"The guiding principle surrounding this matter is that “Individual data will be used for coaching purposes in a supportive manner” and all managers should be adopting this position. Accordingly, if Representatives and Members feel undue pressure is being placed upon them by their manager, they should use the grievance procedure and if this does not resolve the issue and becomes a wider Industrial Relations problem, the flashpoint procedure should be used. If Royal Mail continue to refuse to modify their unreasonable and unfair stance to this extension, the Postal Executive will support all local requests for Industrial Action ballots to defend our members against these unjust measures."

So they're suggesting that if you feel you're becoming victimised you should raise a grievance and if (when) that gets you nowhere then they'll support a local ballot.

At our place everyone who's raised a grievance might as well have put a target on their back instead, plus there's more chance of meeting Elvis down the chippy than our office supporting a ballot for anyone.

Given the success of last year's strikes I expect RM are quaking in their boots over this threat :left:
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

I’ve never worked for a company or know of one that hates its staff as much as Royal Mail do.

They are worried about the timing of it, not it being an actual thing.
