Super Si has been going on about this and I thought we had it, have asked for a copy unless someone else has it.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Hi I'm looking for a copy of any ill health (retirement) policies / agreements please?
I have a document from 2009 titled ' Agreement between Royal Mail Group and Unite-CMA and CWU on managing employees with long term ill health' . I would imagine this has been superseded by more recent documents?

6.4.3 Leaving Royal Mail through Ill Health (LTBIH)ruudy wrote: ↑05 Sep 2023, 17:06Hi I'm looking for a copy of any ill health (retirement) policies / agreements please?

Where employment with Royal Mail comes to an end due to ill health and the employee
meets the criteria for LtBIH with lump sum, they would receive a fixed compensation
payment of 16 weeks’ compensation. In addition, the employee will receive a payment in lieu
of notice and a payment in lieu of any accrued but untaken annual leave.
This change will apply to ill health compensation payment authorised on/after 1st August
2023.
In conjunction with the overall success of this agreement RMG and CWU share a joint
ambition to continue to provide industry leading sick pay and ill-health provision for all
RMG/CWU BUSINESS RECOVERY, TRANSFORMATION AND GROWTH AGREEMENT:Sick pay-Attendance Standards-IHR
That's the new financial part-I would 'guess' the process to get to it is probably the same- but not 100% at the mo.

Thank you. Yes, it does seem strange that the only document I can find is so old.POSTMAN wrote: ↑05 Sep 2023, 17:176.4.3 Leaving Royal Mail through Ill Health (LTBIH)ruudy wrote: ↑05 Sep 2023, 17:06Hi I'm looking for a copy of any ill health (retirement) policies / agreements please?

Do you know if there's an HR contact to ask about this?
