your in a small office thenjohnnypick wrote:POSTMAN wrote:It's summin to do with the amount of days you work in the week i think.combocrasher wrote:was told by my rep that 4 day weeks would mean we lose some holiday entitlements
IE: 5 day week guys week is 5 days holiday,4 day week guys only get 4 days as a week holiday.
So technically you get less days holiday.
Oh no you dont Postman.I get 6 weeks A/L=24 DAYS but i work a 4 day week the other 2 days im off.
If i worked a 5 day week i would still get 6 weeks=30 Days
If i done a 3 day week i would still get 6 weeks =18 Days
No one gets to loose any A/Leave through this system.

John,my point was exact as you posted,on a 4 day week you only get 24 days and a 5 day week you'll get 30 days,a loss of 6 days for a 4 day week.johnnypick wrote:POSTMAN wrote:It's summin to do with the amount of days you work in the week i think.combocrasher wrote:was told by my rep that 4 day weeks would mean we lose some holiday entitlements

So if you was to have odd days off you will lose if you're on a 4 day week.
Me i can have 5 odd days off,you will only get 4.
I know you get 2 days off a week,but technically you lose a bit as above.
Is every one confused yet

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I think that is the formula for pension projections after April where x = - 20,000disgruntledpostie1 wrote:I think this is the formula that you have to use
x = {q + [q2 + (r-p2)3]1/2}1/3 + {q - [q2 + (r-p2)3]1/2}1/3 + p
where
p = -b/(3a), q = p3 + (bc-3ad)/(6a2), r = c/(3a)
or that could be for working out our holidays
