Door to Doors,one day less.

What's the score with this,we've got mags for 4p down our way.Heavy bloody things.
Do we get any extra for having one day less to do them,is there some sort of thing when bank holidays happen.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

but IIRC the extras payment is only if you complete 100%
eg if you get them on tuesday and 'only' do 20% a day then you get standard payment

But as you're a day short because of the bank holiday, you are only working for 4 days therefore you will do 25% each day making 100% right, triggering the extra payment.
If you're stubborn and only do 20% a day over 4 days making 80% completed then no extra payment is given just a kick up the arse probably.
We need Vordaman here to help us out.

i think it goes by weight ; 1.67p up to 20g, 1.75p up to 35g, 4p for 100g, although I don't know the complete scale of payments - plus of course extra if they arrive late.
