I do agree with some of your points again.,,


yawn,yes again i do vote conservative.but i still wouldn't join a union that gave all its money away to them.a union has nothing to do with politics if you think differently you truly are a fanatic.i think and know all political groups are basicly the same.in it for themselves .just look at how many are millionaires.the speaker of the house(labour) has been fiddling the books..the only reason i vote tory is very simple......lower taxes...i dont need a nanny state to tell me what to spend it on.lets not forget labour in one year gave themselves(mps)a 60% payrise.this year they only wanted another 20%.lib dems want to tax everything yet when a vote occurs they dont even bother to vote for what they promised.torys are fiddling their expenses too...

lets have a union of postal workers working for postal workers..i would be first in line.simple as



Now i agree that as a union we should stick to the grass roots of the members rights first and not pander and pay out to ANY POLITICAL PARTY..

BUT to say a union isnt ANYTHING to do with a political party is wrong..... When Unions were founded it was the Labour Party that stood side by side and had the same union members at heart.. THE WORKING CLASS.. Now liebour has a compleat different agenda and only plays the part of the peoples party...

ITS BOLLOX we all know... But if you are a True labourite of the past, It dont make that person a "FANATIC" thats just absurd...

EVERYTHING is to do with politics...

Its about the way we face up to the changes and way political partys speak for us and make changes on our behalf...

I can tell you for a fact you dont prep d2d in your own time, i had this clarified by my union rep this week and i also downloaded the agreement from the website and gave it to my dom who could only look and agree with me.

That's a big surprise to me as everyone in our DO seems to say u do them in your own time.

If this is the case, if I have no free time within in my contracted hours to prep the D2D items and therefore don't deliver them is that OK?
In effect they are being cut-off?

I've always wondered how they can say you've got to do them when the ONLY way I can do them is to stay after my time to prep them in - which is compulsory over-time surely?

D2D prep and delivery should be absorbed into your normal duty hours. If you experience difficulty absorbing the extra workload advise your manager and he can prioritise. Have'nt had one yet choose D2D over failure to complete
