I’m an overtime queen I will regularly double up sometimes 5 times a week

I’m going to fill my boots now coz come March (if that’s when the later start/finishes kick in) I won’t be able to do as much as it will clash with my other commitments

Then I’ll be forced to decide if I can still afford to work at Royal Mail, I hope I can coz I do still love the job but there’s no point working if you don’t have any time to enjoy life
I take it your out until 5/6pm daily on those doubles given everything seems to be SISO these days and ghosting a fortune has long gone? Assuming you do(quite a few at my DO seem happy to do doubles for an extra 3 hours :left: ) then you do well to have time outside of life currently.
Our office is shut by 3pm so I take the PDA home and sign out on that

Also the good thing about doubling is that you don’t have to take flex/lapse

But yeah it’s still tight I’ll get home throw some food down my neck and straight back out the door

Every office is different aye, We've had the "absorption" added to the frames on ours so whether you take one or double up you take that now regardless. Fair play for having the energy to do things most evenings after no doubt doing 30k+ steps doubling!

Later finishes are obviously not bothering you Jen if you're possibly finishing at 5/6pm now like another OP said!! If you're that bothered about not getting as much overtime I'm sure the screws will ask you to come in early the next day to go straight out and take the deliveries that didn't go the previous day :left:
