Good point, Thursday I guess
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Pay is credited to your bank account on Friday, as per usual arrangements, as far as I know.
You may receive your payslip on Wednesday instead of Thursday, but that does not necessarily mean the money is in the bank a day early

Depends on sift but as a general rule you have off the days when your shift starts on Good Friday and Easter Monday (They are the bank holidays), but at my DO they are asking for people to come in at 12.00 midnight Friday and work through 6 hours plus normal duty.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
