It certainly wouldn’t be fair on delivery staff, working with people who are being paid more for doing the same job.
Also there is the threat of anyone transferring office gets placed on the new contract, Sunday working and all that.

Worst week lately this count includes my day off and Sunday off so it's 5 days plus I sit on my ass and don't move once I get home lol.It averages 15 or so miles not 18 like I said earlier got that wrong. But how long can we keep this up.

15 miles per day.
Olympic Athletes training for Marathons do not do that per day!
Don’t care who you are, what you’re made of, the human body cannot do that day in.
When you’re laying in a hospital bed, having had knees & hips replaced & you’re in pain, think was it worth it to pay out some greedy Board room bonus.
And they wonder why new staff don’t last🤣

Why not it's what those on New Contracts do every day alongside longer term colleagues and not quite sure how exactly MC staff are paid more than Delivery Staff unless you are counting Shift Allowances and if you think someone working a 7am to 3pm shift should earn the same as someone working 2pm to 10pm or 10 pm to 6am then don't worry Royal Mail will eventually make that the case.

The 10k day was your rest day so that's about 20 k extra walking on Royal Mail working days which means probably about 25 k for the company because I would imagine you walk much less before and after work. Do you use a HCT or just the van and loops or god forbid bag over shoulder. As it's not just the walking it's carrying stuff as well so not just your hips and knees that are bearing the brunt but your shoulder and elbow. The only thing you have going for you is Scotland never gets as hot as South West of England would imagine your mirror image worker in Padstow will be sweating to death as well as destroying his joints

Sunday working and all that? You’ll have to try better than that enskied, MCs don’t close on a Sunday.

Didn't realise we do these sort of numbers on delivery, i knew i did plenty but not this much. Not sure how i managed to do so much buff in the early days as i would work 50-60 hrs every week back in the day.
In my 60's now so will have to relax a bit more and hopefully i can retire in the next few years and still be in decent nick, and no i don't do 50-60 hr weeks and haven't done in 10yrs at least, contracted hrs with the odd half hour here and there if i feel like it.
There's no point killing yourself for this lot and being able to retire in decent nick should be everyone's aim.
