A POSTMAN who was suspected of stealing a package of racy women's lingerie from the mail was strip-searched - and caught wearing it.
British postal worker Matthew Furness, 35, was in a g-string from the $120 Bravissimo undies set.
Suspicious bosses had put the underwear in his van after an opened package was found in it.
Furness, of Weymouth, Dorset, will be sentenced in April after admitting theft before the town’s magistrates.

Post worker wore stolen G-string
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/dorset/7297229.stm
A Dorset postman was caught wearing stolen women's underwear after his bosses became suspicious that packages were going missing, a court heard.
Matthew Furness, 35, from Weymouth, admitted two charges of stealing postal packages belonging to Royal Mail, on 1 October and 6 December last year.
Furness was caught wearing a woman's thong taken from a parcel, after a sting operation by officials.
He will be sentenced after reports and was given unconditional bail.
The court heard Furness failed to give an incorrectly addressed package containing a DVD to another sorting bay to deal with.
Caught on CCTV
Weymouth Magistrates' Court heard the film had been planted in his postbag with the wrong address, as part of a sting operation carried out by postal chiefs.
A similar operation then took place two months later when a bra and a thong, worth £49, were placed in the system.
Furness again failed to carryout the correct procedure, the court heard.
He was then caught on CCTV hiding the addresses on packages and keeping them for himself.
Undergoing counselling
He denied stealing, saying he was being "stitched up", when he was first confronted and items were discovered in his jacket pocket.
The court heard when Furness was asked to strip by police looking for the missing underwear, he was found to be wearing the thong.
The bra has never been found but the DVD was discovered at his home, the hearing heard.
Ian Brazier, defending, told the court that Furness was an "opportunist" rather than a sophisticated thief and that he was undergoing counselling.

I'm sorry but when I think of that I keep getting a mental image of Adam Crozier.

There was a case of a blow up doll which had got separated from the mail , it got blown up then somebody took Sexy Sadie home .
I had to put a jiffy bag into surcharge as when I jokingly threatened to throw it at someone , all these exotic electrical appliances fell out from Ann Summers . There would have been a very embrassed woman or dopey embrassed husband finding out his missus had to send away for such items taking the officially sealed packet in from the postman
I did hear a while back that Gazza had been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and was detained in a institution for the retarded with no chance of recovery . Kevin Keegan said we're just glad to have him back !

Only a few months ago we had a Penis Extender fall out of its packaging - lucky although on my round it was too big for me to deliver. Guy that it was addressed to lives on his own and I have not seen him since, probably too embarrassed.norbert wrote: Did RM check he had his high viz and RM shoes on ? , RM and some of it's staff never fail to surpass their-selves !

Was sorting parcels up a couple of years ago when a huge vibrator fell out of a box, it was massive even the blokes were shocked
or jealous Sealed it up after it had about 200 sets of fingerprints examining it. It was on my van, I was dreading knocking on the door luckily there was no answer the regular postie said it was an old bloke who lived there by himself, the size of it I reckon he would've had to wire it up to the mains
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

an old girlfriend said I'll have to send off for one of these "ladies messagers" for when you're on nights but her worst nightmare was the thought of going into hospital , giving her mum the keys to collect her post & bringing it into hospital and her overprotective mother saying asking her to open the packet and a god I want the ground to swallow me up please situation .
There was a tribunal case that RM lost , somebody had found his DOM or Lino & his missus on a swingers site so he put a notice up " If you want a good laugh meet at such & such a pub at 3 , the manager and his missus dolled up like a dog's dinner arrived with half the post office there .
The Tribunal ruled the manager had brought the situation on himself and the notice had nothing specific on it so it wasn't B&H , insubordination or whatever .
