BERLIN, March 13 (Reuters) - Germany's Verdi services union said on Thursday postal workers would go on strike from April 1 if Deutsche Post does not grant concessions over working hours and give more protection over dismissals.
"If (Deutsche Post) does not change its mind then strikes will begin from April 1," Verdi official Andrea Kocsis said. (Reporting by Hans-Edzard Busemann)

See you've fallen for it as well - April 1st - get it? They are really going to double our pay give us a non-contributory pension like MPs, and we can have a kitchen, TV etc etc etc all on the taxpayer.

As mentioned on here by the Fozzmeister, there should of been a Europe wide strike by Postal workers.
But that would be too easy and might even of got us somewhere.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
