It seemed a very innocuous crash but Cavendish has had to abandon his last Tour.

Apparently we're heading for a saddle-node bifurcation of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Trade union bosses linked to Labour have rejected calls to cut ties with a campaign group behind pro-Palestine demonstrations – and have confirmed they will march with them on Saturday.
The general secretaries of the National Education Union and Fire Brigades Union yesterday said they would join the Palestine Solidarity Campaign rally on Armistice Day.
Is Ward going?

Re: Random 2 : A Very Shady Sequel
Is Chris Martin a postman?
"When you try your best but you don't succeed."
Clearly he has been in an office that has recently been through a revision.
"Stuck in reverse."
We currently have 2 vans in the yard off the road with this condition.
"Lights will guide you home"
His office has already had their start times pushed back so they are finishing after sunset.
"I will try to fix you"
The exact words the last 2 planners uttered before vanishing into thin air.
Does he work in your office?

Re: Random 2 : A Very Shady Sequel
Currently if you die intestate and no relatives can be found your estate passes to the Crown. (or the relevant Duchy if you live in Cornwall or somewhere else because laws are unbelievably arcane)
But why doesn't the estate pass to the postie? That seems logical to me.

Return to Sender.
I gave a letter to the postman
He put it in his sack
Bright early next morning
He brought my letter back
How is that evenly remotely possible?

Football needs a sin bin.
Cheating isn't punished harshly enough at the time of the offence.
