DPR driver hours are 11:00 -19:00 across the board.SMS1969 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2023, 19:46If this happens the dom is going to ask for parcel drivers. I’d do it but not if it means starting and finishing much later.I don’t think they’ll be any takers.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑27 Jul 2023, 19:34I wonder if the hubs will just send the oversize straight back to the DOs as they might not have enough staff to deliver their own stuff, let alone oversize from other DOs

Loads of collection jobs are going, a massive amount of boxes are about to be moved onto delivery’s.Nickvilla20 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2023, 19:39They could definitely happen. All our DPR routes have been lasped indefinitely as we don’t have the staff to do the DPR routes. They are also desperate for people to do collections on overtime so I imagine there will be less takers wanting to do packets in the afternoon during rush hour.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑27 Jul 2023, 19:34I wonder if the hubs will just send the oversize straight back to the DOs as they might not have enough staff to deliver their own stuff, let alone oversize from other DOs

Remember this, we all have a starting time and finish time, don't rush, don't stress do the job how it's meant to be done and they can not remove any more shifts out of an office.
If they do decide to remove more shifts don't fret and just carry on as normal. It's not our problem that the walks are or will become unachievable, leave it up to your manager to manage the unmanageable.

I doubt it. With how slow parliament are at passing laws it could actually take years plus you have an upcoming general election to.
A reduction in the USO is almost certain though a six day letter service isn’t feasible these days.

The DOs won't have the staff so they will send them back to the MCSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑27 Jul 2023, 19:34I wonder if the hubs will just send the oversize straight back to the DOs as they might not have enough staff to deliver their own stuff, let alone oversize from other DOs
The MC won't have the space so they will send them back to the RDC.
I reckon the RDC will then just send them straight back to the customer.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
