Applicants for he CEO position with a proven track record of compassion - NEED NOT APPLY!!!TopperGas wrote: ↑13 Jul 2023, 19:41There's a fact sheet as well on Worksplace, no amnesty so RM have effectively moved the goal posts, in their favour of course!SPECIALTRACKED wrote: ↑13 Jul 2023, 19:13So it it an amnesty for everyone from August 1st or does every absence count in the previous year?
I guess it's no real surprise but you'd have thought telling us when we will get the pay rise is the most important update to issue not details on the new attendance changes.
Perhaps the new CEO will have more compassion when they eventually start, although I'm not holding my breath.

Re: RMCtv : Zareena Brown : Attendance changes
We were told by a divisional rep a month ago that the migration process onto the new policy would usually entail them honouring the previous agreement where stages were concerned.
Not the case from what we've read , it would seem the JWG has not achieved much.
I suppose they think they have the cwu on the run so I'd expect more of this down the line.
Still we haven't yet had confirmation from the cwu that this is the outcome of the migration talks.

I cannot see this being intruduced retrospectively. If you’re issued a stage 1 on the 31st of July then you’d be off it on the 31st of jan not the 31st of July the following year.
Clearly they’re not going to announce this in advance as it might encourage use it before you loose it.

They announced it yesterday mate it's in the statement Brown has put out.
Unless she's jumped the gun but looks pretty official to me.

Have it on good authority that the promised JWG as promised in the agreement has not been set up and consequently haven't met!
Agreeing the transitional arrangements was a vital part of their remit. Hopefully an imminent LTB will confirm. Martin Walsh.....any thoughts on RM acting unilaterally and not adhering to the agreement?

Re: RMCtv : Zareena Brown : Attendance changes
Here's my ten pence on it all. It's all well blaming this on the yes voters like others are doing on here, but say if anything it's more the fault of board for just being a bunch of greedy f***s, people who clearly are taking the piss of the system (it's the first policies posties have abused over the years), and some management for basically driving posties to go to such lengths in the first place. There's a handful of posties that do it in this office I'm in and even laugh about it, the pattern is completely obvious too.
There are just two options here now, stay and moan and bitch like majority are currently doing (I've looked through this chat and not encountered one single "yes" voter actually complaining about this), or just plan your escape. Option B sounds good to me I'd say, wayyyy too many people f***ing this job up from the top to bottom and is beyond saving at this point. Doesn't even matter which way you voted. I've seen even to this day who have voiced their vote they were in favour of. The"yes"voters in my office complain about work yet biggest door steppers I've worked with and rush around. And I've also encountered a number of "no" voters who mind you have had YEARS in the job come in for nothing in the morning, to still try and beat their times back in the office despite the revision and a threat of another one. Oh, and not before coming up to a new starter and joking at them for struggling to get out before them or if they are working with them to tell them to hurry up.
The problem with this company has always been that people are just too stuck in their ways to change. That's both management and posties and that is why this dispute has dragged for too long. Is it any real surprise that people really voted this in when in a culture where it's a "Me! Me! Me!" attitude towards everything?
