All honesty, the job really isn't all that but my experiences are completely different compared to others in the company. I've been screwed out of walks because of people continuously coming in for f**k all even now(most mind you are old timers that still under the "job and finish" mindset) and managers that will say f**k all about it since it works in their favour. Then, said idiots will hop off their walks due to their seniority and walk getting bigger and repeat the process all over again. Till these guys f**k off, the job is always going to be f****d. Still relatively young so got options so soon as tomorrow is done, I'll be planning my future and it will be without Royal Mail.

That has always been the problem. There will be some people at my depot at this very moment in time still doing this When you ask them why they say its because they want to finish early But all this company is ever going to do in the long run is give them more work to do They will even point out staff who have been paid to come in early to do IPS and say why aren't they getting paid the same

You can't blame the Union if there is a complete lack of unity on the shop floor to stand up to management. There will always be ar$elickers and people who sell their own grannies for an hour or two of docket. That is why this job has been screwed for a very long time and isn't ever likely to get any better or any easier unless people actually do the job as directed and stop the job and finish mentality.

It's surely going to be YES vote. Most people want the money and move on. Few want to stick with this 2% pay rise and then strike and lose more money and potentially get a worse deal.

If it was a no vote I don’t know how you can say that willingness to sacrifice has been eroded almost to the point of non-existence

Simple maths.
18 days of strike action = This deal.

And if there was that unwillingness to sacrifice as you put it, , then it wouldn’t have been a NO result it would be YES - you are talking about in the event of a NO result after all

My question is if it comes back NO you cannot confidently make your statement ( which you made on the assumption that if it’s a NO result where do we go because there’s no willingness to strike )

Few would vote NO thinking there would be no need to take any more action

Whether the action would be effective is another argument but the willingness to take it would still be there

As I have said before you went on strike to keep allowencies that was the union's only concern, if they didn't get that it would be a NO vote the foot soldiers bare the brunt every time.

NO 60-30 but i have a funny feeling with lots of members not receiving ballot papers we are in for a stitch up.

How would they know which way these members who didn't receive a ballot paper would vote?

Some of the nonsense on here is getting beyond a joke.

Apparently the count has been going on as the ballots have been coming in,says it all to me.
