Probably not it might get a mention if it is a yes vote on the same day or we could wait for weeks to find out the result just like the ballot took to get in the post!
Result will be announced next tues no doubt.
Depends if it goes their way or if they need question it or find some irregularity and run it again till they get the result they want.
Bollocks an you know it result will be declared about 3 or 4pm
:chuckle
Maybe they are waiting to see if you have voted yes or no. seeing you have changed your mind once or twice lost count lol.
How have you voted then?
Yes an voted YES
And so say all of us :chuckle

I mean the sensible ones :left:
No just the mail centre staff

I voted no and haven’t left, but I will if it’s a confirmed yes I personally can’t co-sign this sellout agreement.

Hi Hans solo
I work in a mail.centre and I have voted no. If the ballot.ends up as a yes vote - that will be down to delivery staff who far outnumber mail centre staff. Plenty.of people I work with have voted no as well who work on a mail.centre I might add.

So if someone voted No, then I take it they’ve left the CWU?
I've voted NO,im in delivery, you'd be mad to vote yes ,haven't left the union yet but if its a yes i couldn't possibly stay in a club where people admit defeat so easily.

Quick poll in our DO from the rep revealed that maybe 30% of us haven't had the ballot yet, due to the awful service we provide, and (this is going to make me sound like "a manager" to some, as any gripe about the work ethic of members of the old guard seems to...) people chucking bits of their mail they don't want to do into crates next to walks that aren't going out, and letting it pile up

Why would you be mad to vote for a pay rise and job stability?

You don’t seem to have a high option of your co workers. Maybe you can financially afford to lose more pay but the majority can’t.

Maybe to most people this is just a job and all they care about is the money. I actually find it quite insulting that you call people weak for voting for the deal. I suppose it’s the usual I’m alright Jack attitude I see in Royal Mail.

Solidarity has got us to the point of where we are now. The deal is the best we are going to get. From what I’ve heard from mail centre staff some stability might not be a bad thing.

One thing is for certain more strikes and solidarity won’t be getting us a better deal if anything the company will up the ante.

Both the union and the company have had enough time to sort out these unachievable workloads. Instead walks are STILL failing everyday, and what has changed since they announced this so called agreement?

What ever the outcome I just don't trust the company to adhere to the agreement. The USO has been failing for over 3 years and everyone including the customers are suffering.

Imagine you bought a first class ticket on a train but got a 2nd class service with the trains running late, cabins dirty, etc. We deserve better and so does our customers.
